Rep Power: 4  | Sailfish Popping Competition.... Hi all, I am organising..(planning now) a Sailfish Popping competition in Rompin in September/October. a kinda of series fishing com. over this two months. Now looking for kakis to join..  Nothing firm yet...depending on response to this event..good..it is on...no good cancelled. Just got back from there last week...had some hits..but no hook ups...dame "Chi Kek" watching the sails wack your popper.....  I want to promote Popping for Sails...kick higher than popping the pill. believe me..not easy....even for the season pros.. anybodys' game.. Am now looking for more sponsors to sponsor prizes.. Presently..I am sponsoring a new Safari 5000 for the biggest Sailfish landed on popper/stickbait.. If got more prizes...maybe can have other categories..eg. biggest mack on popper/stickbait.. Jigging--biggest fish on metal jig...not Sabiki jigs.. Live-baiting---biggest Sailfish on live bait...etc.. Guys..planning only har..nothing firm yet..see response how first.. Quick Details; 5 anglers to a boat..need two boats per trip...total; 10 anglers on 2 boats. Cost; S$290.00 there about per pax...poa kar liao.. beer n cigerrettes not included Leave Friday evening and back to Sin Sunday nite..std will work out the fine details later. Ideas and suggestions appreciated. Looking for kakis now... Those intrested please post here. Try to form your own team of 5 angler.. Oh yar..also need some team leaders (Indian Chiefs) to help out..thanks...anyone?? Hope i can get this event rolling...need your support guys.. Thanks guys, Rob |

Rep Power: 4 | Guys, Let me rephrase....competitions sounds serious...I'll use fishing series instead cos it's going to last for two months..Sept/Oct. and prizes wil be given at the end of the series.First few days of Nov. You can fish Rompin as usual...only thing is if you are lucky...you get to win a prize. Sounds better now...I hope. Rob |
