Hmmmm... nice link Mak, ever seen the tape for real?... anyone flogging it off Spore side?.

Reckon that could work on reels too??.

Was thinking of avoiding the corrosion issues with SS screws in aluminium reel bodies/frames and the contact points between metal reel feet and reel seats... That would really rock if it worked.

Heck if i could stick it to the outside frame of my rollers guides I'd do that

..as long as it worked..... I can even see quite a few automotive uses...

I think it won't work on reel, 'coz it need sea water as a media to process the anti corrosion.... Well, it's just a thought, I'm not so sure.

Have not seen it here yet. Seas still way to rough for any fishing trips? It's been blowing a real mean NE the past week or so over here in Singapore.

Seas been rough or real rough but work has been dabitch...... gotta finish off a major bit of sweat and toil, before I wander offshore... Also haven't finished the maintenance work on the bigger boat.... Hoping that things calm down towards the end of the month... Will post an MJ or two then I reckon.

Finally got to take apart a little Avet MX tho... cute reel, but had a destroyed left spool bearing... wonder if the anode tape would have worked here, just tape it into the inside of the left hand sideplate and see what happens, or maybe tape it to the inside of the spool above the line.

How has fishing been for you these past few weeks?.

Hi Saimee,

Have not been fishing lately. The weather's been a real bitch over here too so none of my boat owning kakis bothered to go offshore at all. There appears to be a real chermin run nearshore in Singapore though, as you must have seen from local Catch Report's. Can't wait for the winds to die down so we can shoot out to SCS or Aur!!! Shaking from withdrawal symptoms already!!!
