In one of the earlier Rod & Line issues, I saw some Malaysian anglers using Quantum Cabo overhead reels and was wondering if anyone here has seen them on sale in KL/JB/Penang. I'm looking for Quantum Spinners so if you've seen them in/around your kampong please do let me know. Thanks!!

Thanks for the reply guys. Someone by the nick of UBOB from MFN told me no one is carrying Quantum in Malaysia. Hope you guys can find it for me! Anyway I am interested in the Quantum Catalyst PTi Inshore 20

Cheng, I think he was the one in photo holding a Quantum Cabo... wonder where he got it from. Are you buying anymore used stuff from Edros or Jason? I'm coming over 31st July so "mai tu liao"!

No leh, thinking of getting electric reel only. This trip may bring your heavy jigs liao a lot of deep water spot haha....

Last weekend kingfisher member onboard Apollo hantap Mr. ah Nan spot (the guy who 1 2 caused trouble), reported strong current and 2-3m big swell, only manage to land 1 x 13kg, 2 x 10kg over grouper, few 5-6kg krisi and some bottom reef fish nnnnnn...no Amberjack.

Alamak... you should have told me about the deepwater spots earlier! I just rigged 10 jigs around 300g size. What's your idea of big? 10/20/30oz??

Last sunday they said 1kg sinker cannot hit bottom, these few days weather getting better, hope to be good on saturday cos' i'm going Miri dropoff fishing.

Just bring 1 or 2 pcs 400-500g lah, btw, Edy and Jason got popping set 4 sale or not, ah Meng thinking of getting one spare popping outfit ( he 1 2 make sure pee, chee, dua liap nee).
