the butt so short how to jig? reel will be knocking on your chin if its a overhead model and if convert/buy a spinning version its going to be even worst, cos its going to be rubbing against your chest if u're doing underarm jigging..

Bro this rod die die must jig Matsutani style (AKA Dogtooth Tuna style) :P But I did not buy this rod in the end. My friend die die don't help me bid because he says this is 6-7 year old technology Great to have good friends who can point you in the right direction.

Now I am trying to find a suitable glass blank with input from my ol' buddy Makaira. Will still built it like the Tenryu though

well...if you insist... but you might probably need a pair of longer arms to jig Matsutani style with such a short butt rod... but well to each his own

Jason, Blue Rose I already have one... enough liao

Mark, thanks for the concern. Trust me, this rod will be sitting in rod holder 80% of the time (Trolling/bottom fishing). Jigging wise I still have my trusted Stella
