Penn 321GTi (lefty)

Hi all ,

Once again I need expert advice....

Am planning to get the Penn 321GTi (lefty) rell as I am a left-hander and also prefer to use lefty reel too. Any comments/reviews?

Have read the specs of the reel and noticed that the line capacity is only 20lbs with 320m spool. Does that mean that i can't use 30lbs line?

The Penn GTi is not exactly the best saltwater reel. Weak drag, graphite frame and a line cap that's neither here nor there. IMHO you should save up a little more and get something better

By the way, is that Sabre and DeepSea open for biz on Sunday? 1 day I might go there for a look.

Not sure about low cost lefty options... sorry

I know for sure Accurate Boss has lefty models but they cost a little more (worth every extra cent though).

Learn to crank with your right hand and it's a whole new world out there bro

Hi Octopus,

I don't think they are open on Sundays. If I am not wrong, for the Beach Road shops, I think I have seen Joe's Tackle, Born2fish & Hotspot open on Sundays.

Best regards,
Makaira

Dear jason,

Wow , checked out the specs on the Boss 665, very impressive!

Wondering wat kind of price tag is your friend considering.... hopfully affordable in my capability?

Also, the model is 665N, 665XN, 665HX or 665HXM that is in question?

Thanks for sharing the info..
