I used to own a car and driving to Endau is a very stressful decision. Usually we will book a mini bus which will cost ard 400 sing (return). Fishing will usually depends on the number of anglers to the size of the boat used. Boat pricing there are pretty much standard. Small single outboard - 400 - 450 RM (sits max 4 + 1 boatman) a day Medium single or two outboard - 500 - 550 RM (sits 5 + 1 boatman) a day Large single - triple outboard - 650 RM (sits 6 + 1 boatman) a day These boats are operated by different boatman whom used to work for Junk Goat. Now he is "Sort off" retired from operating but strictly renting the boats to the boatman. The price above may change abit here and there. The contact that I've got here belongs to one chinese teochew speaking boatman by the name of Ah Liang. His contact number is +60129012383. He operates the small boat. If you require a bigger boat, you may inform him to book for you. Accomodation... Usually people would chose to stay in the resort hotel in Rompin. Its quite far away from the town (a 5 mins drive is required). You may get your boatman to book the accomadations for you. Transportation there.. Heres a BIG problem for many including myself. A combi in Malaysia will cost ard 600 - 650 RM (return). If you have a small group of 3, you can book a cab. These cab drivers offers better rates then combis of cos. single distance is 180 RM. Picks you from JB Custom and sends you on a 3 hour journey to Endau Rompin. Heres 1 contact of the Long Distance Cab (they are under the Malaysian Taxis Associations). Call 1 day in advance. The Cab driver's name is Neo a chinese speaking guy with the contact of +0197117706. Hope you guys have a well spent fishing escapade without paying extras. Don't worry about "How to catch a sail" or "How to rig your baits" as the boatman will basically teach you guys when on board. Tipping the boatman is strictly based on individuals. Usually we would invite the boatman to join us in dinners with some cans of Booze.
