Bluewater Fishing Expedition

Yo Guys

Was thinking of having a friendly competition between us close buddies here. Max 15 pax... each of us put $20 into a pool for prize. Venue/date not comfirmed yet but this will be a LURE only event

No restriction on tackle but everyone will use the same leader (20lb/sponsored by me

). Venue will probably be a stocked pay pond and everyone will pay for their own rod on actual day. Interested parties please reply and leave your contact number.

I am interested but i have 2 problems.

1st. I do not have any ruling experience
2nd. i only have offshore fishing gears

Please let me know what kind of setup (including the brand and model) do i need for the competition.

It'll be a 8-5pm event Jason.

Just like fishing at the pond except we're going to have a winner at the end of the day

Edy, just any small spinning outfit with about 125yds of 4-10lb Fireline will do nicely. Lots of cheap and good light tackle on market these days.

Venue will be PM-ed to participants.

Please reply to this thread and leave your contact number if keen to join the event.

$20 from every participant will be collected in a weeks time and the choice of prize will be decided by participant's vote.

Please note that the $20 mentioned above DOES NOT include fishing charges at pond.
