Rep Power: 5 ![]() | The colour is not as corny as it appears dude. Great safety feature as it will be easily spotted from a distance should one fall overboard (Touch wood!) |

| Moderator | Hey, I like jumpsuits.... as Mikey knows.. If its the same dayglo orange as the Shell one I use now, safety and visibility should be fine. Count me in dude, 2 size large and maybe more after I ask the crew. Saimee. P.S. best worn with accesories like rubies below

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | It's good safety feature for anglers donning bright color clothings during offshore trip. White is not easily seen during rough seas with white caps all over. Just like personal water survival course(donning pyjamas with long pants), a wet jumpsuit can be easily converted to become a float by tying both "pants ends" with a simple knot. By flipping overhead & hence trapping air into both section forming a V float, one can rest the neck onto this makeshift float without expending precious energy treading water to stay afloat. Wet clothings also trap air better than dry clothings. |

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | I'm not so sure about the safety features of brightly coloured jumpsuits....... I've got a bright yellow one which I wore for an offshore fishing trip once. U know what happened? Flying fish kept flying out of the water aimed straight at me! I got hammered once on the shoulder and another on the back of my head!!! And they were pretty big flying fish too! If anyone thinks I am talking cock, Mark can verify my story. I'm not kidding. Let's hope Todaks aren't attracted to orange........... |

seems like this will be good to "catch" some flying fish as live bait! Cheers, Edy | |

I just wanna share with you guys what ever little knowledge i know about these coveralls. These coveralls shrink big time,(especially the cheaper ones...)so if you're planning to order, than order them much bigger than d desired sizes. If not, when it shrinks,it's gonna squeeze our family jewels and it's gonna be really uncomfortable. I'm kind of lucky as the company i work for provides us really good ones(imported). It has added safety stuff like reflective strips.(touch wood if some one falls overboard during night time it makes them easily visible with these reflective strips). It also has an open "pocket" so that our jewels can "breathe" a little easier during a hot sunny day. Above is only for your info and something to think about and not to compare. I've been using them for the past 18yrs... psssssst! i've got one extra(new).Any one wanna buy em from me?...hee hee kidding guys

Edy,at d moment i dont have the contact for the manufacturer,as we just put in our orders to our Dallas office and they'll take over from there.I'm not sure how much it costs but i think it's pretty steep and also it's in US$.(but i doubt if it's made in the US.) My coveralls are not hot as i ordered it accordingly to our region's climate. For colder climates, than it'll be thicker ones.Oh, did i tell u it's supposed to be fire proof?(tha's what they say...) maybe if you're interested,i can pass u my new coverall as a sample and u can have a look. There might be a local supplier/tailor who can "copy" it's feautures.I dunno Edy,it's just a suggestion.
