Rep Power: 4 ![]() | RE: Drift Fishing It's better to avoid long trace line as you might get snag easily. Keep it to the minimun. A running sinker would be a better choice if the current is not so strong. cheers! physlo.. |

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | Hi Les, For me, apollo will be better. Less sangkot, let the sinker touch bottom and just lift up a bit (maybe one ft). Keep doing slow jigging and try to feel the bottom. If touch , lift up a bit, if never touch for sometime, release until it touches bottom and repeat the cycles. Good luck. By the way , where are you all going ? Cheers. |

Any fish that takes that rig must be really SPACED OUT! But will definitely snag a "space-rock".

| Super Moderator | We ought to give the Japanese bait fishing styles a try one of these days. They basically use a berley dispenser as weight and seem to have rather good success on food fish. Must try and get a Japanese friend to give me some tips on this some time. |

Must really look out tho - if snagged, very very expensive hobby (not that it's very cheap now).
