Rep Power: 4 ![]() | Dear guys, Sorry if this may sound like spam; if so, moderators please feel free to delete this post. Anyway, the story goes......Shimano is having a Caranx Kaibutsu Saltwater Competition as advertised in R&L magzine. All that is needed to take part is to submit a fish(above 5kg) photo together with the Shimano equipment(rod/reel) you caught it on to enter the contest. Pics with Caranx kaibutsu rods in them will receive special bonus prizes. Some of the prizes include a new yet to be launched high end game rod, nexus backpack, Shimano polarised sunglasses, ocea pencil commerative plaque, line cutters, t shirts etc etc....... As to now, we have yet to receive any submissions, so the pile of prizes lies sitting in the corner collecting dust(not what we want, we really want to give these out) So please try your luck in this competition. If interested, please send your pics to sales@shimano.com.sg or by snail mail to Shimano Singapore Pte Ltd, Fishing Tackle Division, 20 Benoi Sector, Jurong Town, Singapore 629852. Please remember to leave your contact information so we can get in touch with you regarding the gifts. Kindly ensure that the pics are of reasonable resolution as selected pics will be published in R&L magazine to commemorate the fisherman and his catch. Disclaimer: #I am affiliated to the above mentioned company. #Moderators, please feel free to delete this post if deemed unappropriate for this forum, thanks PS: Please try to practice C&R, as we are not really too keen on dead fishes hanging at the docks; the purpose of this comp being to encourage and promote saltwater game fishing in a healthy and sustainable way Last edited by JIGW : 22-02-2008 at 03:18 PM. |
