My Mood:  Rep Power: 6   | Braided lines for Baitcasting reels I'm going back to pond fishing/bait casting and was wondering what's the best braid you guys have used for light luring with baitcasters. I've not been casting lures for ages and would like to see if the majority is still using Green Fireline. Many thanks in advance   |

My Mood: Rep Power: 6 | Thanks for the tip off. I just bought a 300yd spool of white 20lb PowerPro. Not that I need 20lb to wrestle pond fish, just don't feel too safe casting with super thin braids, especially on baitcasters Will probably go back to 14lb Fireline if PowerPro doesn't work out. |
