Re: Ah Chong in Dec Rod & Line

That is cool man! Were you the one whom wrote the article?

I think they should wrote about Nelayana too ... they have been catching lotsa big groupers and snapper from Singapore water.

Btw I sent an email to rod and line to list fishingouting.com in their magazine directory, do you happen to see it being listed?

Cheers,
Edy

Yo Edy,

Article was written by Daniel Wan. Nope, didn't see the usual listing of tackle shops, charters etc. in this month's issue...perhaps they ran out of space...here's a scan

cheers

Heh heh...think they should do a feature on the one who has been outfishing everyone else in local waters instead...Grand Master Makaira...now does that name ring a bell?

Hi Mark, Edy,

Daniel is a friend of mine from Penang and we hook him up to fish with Ah Chong durng his short stay here. He was impressed that Singapore waters still hold good fishing. Adrian aka Shark07 was with us for that trip. Ah Chong has been pretty consistent with the catches and with the chermin run at CNB now, needless to say he is booked solid for the last 2 months.

Other charters like Nelayana, Raju and not forgetting Ah B are good too. We were just lucky that on that day with Ah Chong, we have a good mix of catches.
